UpperRoom Coffee Roastery is a small-batch home roastery located in the heart of Cape Town's southern suburbs. We specialize in crafting quality specialty coffee, offering a curated selection of blends and single-origin beans that are ethically and sustainably sourced from trusted green coffee suppliers.

Our journey into the world of coffee roasting began with a simple fascination with brewing methods - whether it was espresso or French press, we were captivated by the complex flavors that specialty coffee could offer. What started as a passion for brewing soon led us down the rabbit hole of roasting. We began with a 200g sample roaster in an upstairs room of our home, driven not by profit, but by the desire to share our love of coffee with friends, family, and our local community.

As word spread, we quickly realized that to meet growing demand and improve efficiency, we needed to scale up. Today, we continue to refine our craft, ensuring that every batch we roast maintains the same quality and care we’ve always strived for.
